Sweet lord, when I first decided to pay over 10 quid for 5 felt tip bloody pens I thought I was going mental, (I'm very very cheap) But sweet lord they are awesome! And fun to use, Copics are the way forward.Erm... this is just a page of doodles

Looking good; I like your grasp of facial shadows. It looks like you're able to do those with one smooth motion, there's no overlap with your shadows- I can never manage that. (P.S. I tend to like the basic printer paper because the colors don't bleed or absorb like thicker ones.)

Just out of interest, are you using marker paper or just the bog standard stuff? I just use the latter myself, since I waste on my money on felt tips...

I'm sure you can detect the far more 'cartoon' look to the lines,
that things seem much more fluid and smooth. Keep going along that
path, dude - I think some seriously good art will come from this...!

Here's hoping! I'm currently bashing out a few pages of expressions for Reyna, just head shots, partly to get the hang of the expressions and partly just to get a hang of these markers, it's really quite fun!
