The denizens of the Ragged North (Bradakar) are a hard and brutal people, but far from savage.

The hammer of time has beaten the Bradakar against the anvil of natural selection in the great white and forged a race which represents genetic perfection to such a degree that even a half breed is so only in name: as hyper-dominant Bradakar genes will take only the bare minimum of what is required if one party is of lower racial stock so that the child resulting from said union is more or less a full blooded Bradakar.

Scholars will one day theorise that the Bradakar may actually be the remnants of a far older and more powerful race.
