This year's illustration has less traditional bird species. Robins and bullfinches are the usual choices but I wanted to do something different and went with Eurasian jays instead. They can be mischievous and loud, but they're undeniably intelligent birds as well, so I jokingly made them construct the christmas tree.A4, Derwent Inktense pens, some touches of watercolours and white pencil
