Description More experimenting with tea.
I'm hoping to display some of these in a tea store near my house and since most of the tea I use is from Asia, I figure I should do some Asian themed paintings ^.^

Enjoy!

This is simply amazing. To be able to get so many details with that Medium is simply awesome. The Kimono is mind blowing, really.
Reading the comments I know the face has been mentioned, but I don't think it bad, anyway. It looks kind of mask-like or maybe even a bit transgender which both suits the Japanese culture very well. So intended or not, it is very fitting

It's so good to hear from you again! I'm sorry I haven't looked through your gallery or commented on your most recent journal, although I have read it. I want to actually have time to respond to those kind of things. I really hope things are looking up! You just can't seem to catch a break. Maybe it's time to change directions completely. Whatever that means for you.

Thank you for taking a look! It's very difficult to make small detail in tea so that's why the face becomes a blur but I actually kinda like it. ^^ I didn't want to be the focus to be the face anyway. I just wanted to show off the lighting and layered fabrics. I guess that does fit the Japanese culture! Thanks again!

Ahaha, don't YOU worry about not comenting on my crybaby journals, honestly. Maybe I just expect too much from this world. Especially after I have been teached time and again that I shouldn't expect positive. No matter how much I try.

I have been wondering about changing completely actually. The thing is that my head is such filled up, I can't imagine the slightest change in direction. Except of going back to Germany, but I don't see anything there for me either and... gaa, cut that out here.
This should be about your drawing

I can imagine that details have been very hard with tea and therefore the fabrics' outcome is even more stunning. You did great in drawing attention to them instead of the face. Took me some time to look at the face, actually XD

It totally fits. Wonderfull work, hun

I'm so sorry for the embarrassingly late reply on all your lovely comments. I just wanted to say thank you for all the time spent looking at my work and commenting. I really hope you've been doing ok and things are looking up for you. I'm sorry about being so distant. School and work has sadly taken over my life. I wish you the best!

I know what you mean, her face just wouldn't get the features I wanted with this medium. The tea isn't dark enough to pick out the features. I tried to layer again and again but it just didn't work so I went for a more mysterious feeling. I'm still learning the boundaries of tea
But thank you so very much, I always appreciate your comments!!
