This photo had been taken for a period. I've made some basic adjustment in Photoshop before posting since the original one looks rather blur and the colour simply less satisfactory than what I've got in the camera's LCD. And this is the result.What I want to show in this photo is the feeling of "touch" between the architecture(representing human) and the sky(with relation to god, heaven...such kind of things)

you make Hong Kong look so beautiful lol. I grew up there but came to Canada when I was 5. Never went back since. I always remebered the sea when it hits the shore and the hig waves. Not to mention the Sky Scrapers. My dad left and went back to work. so he tells me how it looks like now. N he said its really dirty.
But from what I see in this photo... itrs so beautiful. This is a photo of HK right? Anyways. The sky is my fav. part the clouds are perfeclty in place for this shot. the colours are really mellow a song can really suit this aswell. truely amazing. you are

yes, Hong Kong isn't very clean( it's better now because of the SARS in 2003), but it still lovely. And it's fairly beautiful in some places, in some moments.
just like this photo, actually i don't really like the skyscrapers because they just block the sky and wind(that's why the air pollution in Hong Kong is very serious). but in sometimes, they can form some dramatic scene.

oh i think you could express what you wanted to. when i saw the thumbnail i thought of touching or reaching to the sky. the light comin from between the clouds is pretty amazing
and you did well with the colors too, i like the blue soft one a lot. it actually looks almost unreal, it's so soft and fragile. yet the sky is powerdul and...what am i blabbing about, it's a great shot !!

oh my god this photograph truly touches me for some reason. the sky looks so vast and grand and makes everything else seem so miniscule. this is the kind of beauty in the world that i've been missing. everything else in life just seems so transient and trivial compared to things like this. the sky will always be out of reach but people will keep reaching for it still. haha sorry for how stupid i sound but this picture really does touch me. thank you for that. +fav

This is absolutely gorgeous.
The first thing that really caught my eye was the colours in the photograph so serene...and yet, almost ominous.
I also love the composition of the photograph as well, and how the buildings work almost as a silhouette up against the sky.
It is quite a thought provoking and powerful piece in my humble opinion.
