This is an old project I worked on at the beginning of my second semester (first year), in architecture studio (one of my classes). For this project, I was tasked with experimenting with different materials. For example, tooth picks and glue. Or Straws and tape. I was only allowed two materials per model though. Also each model had to be a minimal of 2'x2'x2'. The purpose of this assignment, was to teach us (our class), how to experiment with materials, and examine their properties and behavior. This assignment was only the first building block for the semester, because all the following assignments had to derive from this initial project.
