I’ve already been working on this lovely bruja lady for a while now - so glad I could make it in time to submit her for the Witch Tutorial Badge on DeviantArt! I know she’s not a pointy-hatted witch most might be used to, but she’s a strong indigenous woman who practices her craft with diligence.

I was thinking of doing this in color when I planned it originally, but I fell in love with the black and white on sepia look while I was playing around. I hope you all like it too! I wanted it to give a bit of a memorial tattoo feel; and, a reminder that the love of one’s ancestors never dies.
