Description
Erinaceus europaeus.Young european hedgehog that was found dead while strolling through the park. I don't know why or how it died; no wounds, no blood, nothing. It looked as if it just peacefully fell asleep, surrounded by red and golden leaves - it looked so tragically beautiful.

because of its size. It is pretty small; the hedgehogs we normally see in our gardens are almost three times bigger.
