That's one big problem that has been holding me back from drawing more Elsa right now..
With not drawing for so long.. its taking a lot just to get back into drawing.... let alone its been 10 years probably since I digitally colored something
You just cant get that SAME feeling of the sheer see through fabric through, with just linework

have you tried playing around with different layer opacitys and blending modes? The one thing that digital can help you out with is that it can do alot of the work for you. I use paint tool SAI and it os not as extensive as photoshop but you can still get some pretty cool effects if you play around with the layer properties.

Coloring (at least base/basic) of her regular dress/body below the cloak... and then a layer overtop for the cloak itself, opaque?
Do you mind if I bug you a bit, when/if I get to that point for some pointers?

Well.. took a shot at coloring... probably used about 8 layers when doing it.. playing a bunch with the opaqueness on the snow/snowflake ones especially.

Really nice coloring, especially if you havent drawn or colored in a while. The backround looks very good and Anna looks really icy, which can be hard to pull of. Nice work

Background is an image capture, with a bit of a filter on it>.>Β Didn't want to push my luck.
I spent one whole night.. jus trying to get the color pallet alone..

I haven't even attempted to TRY as of yet.
Unfortunately.. due to work, my kid, etc.... its the reason I STOPED drawing.. just lack of time.
Frozen.. stirred something up in me.. (obcession maybe?
Not really conductive to being able to sit down, and play in PS/SAI
But maybe, as I start to pick up and do more.. might force myself into it
