I love trying new styles as I did on this art...I was just so pissed that Rowling left this out of DH! It was the least Snape deserved. I know she said that Harry made sure that Snape got his portrait, but somehow it just doesn't feel the same as reading it in the book...anyways, Rowling has been saying lots of things lately that I feel she really should have just put in the books

I agree, she should have put this in the book. Snape deserves a hell of a whole lot more than just a measly portrait in the head masters office. Snape's a real hero.

I like to think that she channeled him from some other dimension. I mean how could that silly cow actually INVENT someone so complicated and amazing?

Yeah, I agree, I didn't like DH either. There were some good parts, but most was just blah...it feels to me like I'm still waiting to read a proper ending. And Snape...well, Rowling really doesn't like him...

I got the feeling that she was just phoning it in. I agree that there were good bits, and I KNEW that Snape would have to die; that was pretty much a given. But I was really disappointed that it wasn't a more heroic death. I think it would have had more impact if he had died saving Harry. I mean, snakebite, for gods sake! Considering how thoroughly she seems to despise Snape, I guess it's fortunate she didn't have him die of a broken neck from slipping on a banana peel.....
