Hi! I love the art. I hope you don't mind, but I plan on using this in a set of digital cards. They won't be sold, and you will be credited on the card. If you have an objection to this personal use, let me know, and I'll change the picture to something else. Thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous texture and lighting on his skin, I love how you left it slightly sketchy around the edges and by his hand...wonderful work!

beautiful werk...I enjoy the refinedness of the detail, yet the scratchy blurred outlines of the outter edges, makes this a very unique piece..

While the art is fantastic, there were quite a few things that bothered me in this picture. Firstly, the thumb of the Goblin's hand seems to be a bit squashed, thin. Also, the hair is quite disappointing in my opinion. Its quality/level of detail seems to be a few steps down from the detail in the rest of the picture. Also, the back of the Goblin's head seems to lose some detail, especially on the ear (although that could be intentional because of the lighting?) The sketchy marks (I don't know what they are called) around the hand detract from the quality of the picture rather than adding to it, in my opinion. There are a few other places where this occurs. It seems a strange choice considering how defined the edges of the face are.
There were many things that I did like, however! The structure of the face is superb. Also, the enlarged vein on the side of the Goblin's head (I'm assuming that is what it is) is a very nice touch. The expression of the Goblin as he focuses on what is in his hand (is that the "trill"?) is very powerful as well and adds a lot of emotion to the picture. It is like $jark said, "pure evil". This emotion is fuelled by the fire in the background (excuse the pun). The lighting in the picture is excellent as well, and adds another level of realism. The thing that I was particularly impressed by were the muscles on the face. I think that you have captured the wrinkles/muscles/folds in the skin superbly. Attention to detail such as that really makes a picture a pleasure to look at. I also liked the simpleness/lack of detail/whatever in the background, allowing the background to support the Goblin, rather than creating a distraction for the viewer. (It's a bit hard to explain). The similarities between the colour of the Goblin's forehead and the colour of the background (near the bottom of the page) creates an interesting connection, and seems to support the evil nature of the Goblin (fire being symbolic of evil/power in this picture).
The little silver thingy with the red bits: I'm assuming that this is the trill? I like the contrast between the Goblin and the trill. The difference in size really emphasises the power/evil nature of the Goblin. The dramatic difference in colour between the Goblin and the trill also emphasises the above point (also, possibly, the weakness of the trill). The vectors that draw the viewer's eyes to the trill/what is in the Goblin's hand also emphasises this "focus of evil". The detail on the trill is great as well, and the shine on the red bits adds a nice effect, too.
Overall, I really liked this picture. While there are some problems in it, the positive aspects of the picture far outweigh these negative aspects. Fantastic work! Also, congratulations on the Daily Deviation.
Note: I hope that thing was the trill, otherwise I have made a fool of myself.

That is insanely awesome! It looks really good and the expression is just evil enough to look evil enough to kill. I love the detail of the little fairy thing. A nice picture with an awesome creature.
