"My Angel"dedicated to my hunnie bunnie for our 15 month anniversary [Tuesday October, 11th '05] and also as a way of conveying how i feel about him.

FULL VIEW PLEASE+.i finished this on Sunday [the 16th] because i wasn't able to complete it the weekend before due to my AP Studio Art concentration #2: Reflection that i had to finish -___-.. and then.. that thing happened [i am still not up for explaining it] =T__T=;;;; so i wasn't able to concentrate and i was constantly down and unable to concentrate or finish my homework and i had trouble getting sufficient amount of sleep due to stress and my homework load. i am more than happy that him and his family are safe
i wish nothing but the best for brett and his family.---
the title "My Angel" and being portrayed as an angel is to depict how i view brett in my life. last year [specifically during the months of August - October/early November] was probably the hardest and most devasting time in my life. i don't want to in-depth concerning that, but only my few best/close friends and brett of course, know about this situation and my health problems very vividly.
through this portion of my life, i was able to realize how easily people can take advantage of me, how corrupt my family was, who were really my friends and who weren't; who were just using me, who had no consideracy whether or not i was in the hospital, who were supporting me, who were talking behind my back. only brett was able to pull me through every single one of those hardships. he still continues to support me in every single way possible as i continue to try to erase my painful past away from my heart even though it is what carved myself to how i am now.
brett has had the most significant impact on my life and it is astonishing how my family is able to recognize what an important figure he is in my life. he has eliminated my pessimistic, gloomy views on life bringing a new, luminous, optimistic and overall good outlook on life. because of him i was also able to become more assertive and more aware of the fraudulent society which is what has devasted my life. it is a first in my family to allow someone very close [i have 2 older brothers and 1 older sister, all who every time brought their close friend/bf/gf was unaccepted/disputed] to be accepted willingly. as my sister told me her thoughts "I believe God has deliberately placed Brett in your life at the right place, at the right time," is something i can't agree more on.

i had a particularly hard time with the lineart [even though i spent an hour on it >o>;;] and with brett's arm/hand. i KNOW it doesn't look convincing or whatever since i tend to make my characters all elongated, but it looked right to me until i colored it :l i also didn't notice how i messed up on my fingers/hands until i colored it..
i had NO intention to make the background look similar to oUr 10 month anniv. 2005 [link] but it just turned out that way O.o;; i really didn't have an idea of how to do the background for this, so i did random.. and it turned out like that xD with STARS!!

Cami... I admire you so much for your courage to tell us all of that. It takes a tremendous amount, and I'm very happy. That sole impact by Brett just shows you how powerful that can be. Beautiful! Their faces look a little flat, but I love the guy's hair (sooo good to finally see a guy's hair that isn't like.. long-fringe-covering-eyes and such XD)! The girl's expression is really touching too <33!

Everyone we meet is for a reason, for good or for bad. It's obvious that Brett is for good in your life, something I know you don't need to hear for anyone because you are so aware of it. >^-^< Does Brett have two different eye colors?? o.o Like in real life?? That's awesome if he does.

and yes, brett really does have different eye colors in real life xD his mom told me when he was younger both of his eyes were blue O.o don't know what happened, but it's really awesome xD i told the artist i ordered commission from =hikari-chan to add in those two colors and even sent her a close-up picture of his eyes xD

=^^= thank you, i think i tried too much rather than it just naturually coming to me which is a rare thing to me. i felt the emotions, but i had difficult time conveying it into the picture because i was so stressed out and wanted it to be completed a.s.a.p. xD;; i replaced my handwriting [brett gets the full version with my handwriting on it by his request because he lubs my handwriting for some reason x__X X__x ::thinks its ugly::] with those fonts xD.

i see a huge improvement in ur expressions in this picture... especially the "hurt" expression "you" have... though brett's facial expression is kind of dull .. his body language (arm) shows quite alot...well... about the ascending... i wasn't really trying to be analytical or anything... jus tell u what i felt.. and the impression i got... and dont know about my wording... (especially since i use soo much "...")

snif.... makin me cry with all that sweetness....its so great you 2 have each other.... you're sooooo lucky!!!!! and its sooooo preeeetty.... i know a girl with different coloured eyes. well, its more like a little patch of brown in one blue eye... so i spose they are 3 quarters blue and a little smidge brown. its cool but. yay for funky genetic defects!!! apparently hazel eyes and green eyes are also something strange... but our teacher never got around to telling us how it happened.... hhmm anyways, i luv your pic and i think brett is dam lucky to have someone so sweet!!!! oh yeah congrats

I've got so much to say about this. First of all, what you wrote was incredibly heartfelt and i can't help but admit that it actually brought tears to my eye (and I'm also like.. really easily moved so.. yeah. ._.;; ) I really can't express how happy I am for you two. Your relationship with one another is just so. adorably. touching. I'm really glad that you were able to get past all those hardships to be here at this point with him by your side. And even though I only know you as an online friend, I'm praying for the best for you and the both of you. After reading that I also just want to let you know that it's been wonderfully different with you and your artwork and your spiritive energy here. So yeah, I just really appreciate that, you might not know it but there were days when you completely flipped my mood entirely around into something positive through comments and support and the like, and it's been that way since day one.
Hoopahf I'm sorry, that was pretty long @_@;;;; Anyway, there's really no word for me to use to describe this piece and why I love it so much. It's like.. the colours, the expressions, bg design, and the concept especially - this piece is pretty much utterly heart-stirring and breathtaking.
