Backstory:
Haruka Tanaka was a wealthy businessman living in central Tokyo, Japan. He ran a very well-respected and profitable technology development and manufacturing business that helped supply computers, phones, and televisions to Japan. However, Haruka only cared how much money he was making and how to go down the most profitable routes to ensure his business stayed on top, even if those routes were unethical. He would make his employees work long and barely recognised hours, strings and harsh deadlines for work, and hardly any breaks. Haruka was a man of pure business and profit, not even having a family to share his wealth with since in his own words ‘would be a distraction’. Whenever he would be confronted by one of his employees he would fire them on the spot and get a cheaper replacement, letting his pride for his business make every decision for him. Until one night an employee got sick of the way he and his fellow workers were being treated and decided to take matters into his own hands. On a late-night when Haruka was still in office, the employee snuck into his office with a pistol and managed to sneak up behind Haruka and pressed the barrel into the back of Haruka’s head and fired, killing him instantly. In the afterlife, the previous Sin of Pride was amazed at the extent and lengths Haruka would go to keep his pride in check and to ensure he always came out on top, for this they made Haruka the new Sin of Pride and promised an eternity of good fortune and praise from his underlings.

- Haruka's phone is his Sin Artifact and it allows him to hypnotise, immobilise and control beings.
- Unlike his fellow Sins, Haruka prefers his Servant transformation of mortals to be sophisticated and well-dressed workers/assistants.
