______________
I plan on using my platform to showcase BIPOC in a positive light.
.
.
I have too often seen people say why are you supporting such a violent movement?
A violent and nonviolent demonstration are two sides to the same cause: Awareness.
The only difference is that ‘a riot is simply the language of the unheard.’
But the targeted violence, the destruction of property, the noise-making and roof shaking.
Two sides of the same coin. The fastest way to subdue a riot is to acknowledge and fix the conditions. One approach is just louder than another.
I am not speaking of the looting based on crimes of opportunity. Those detract from the idea and it's all that certain people focus on.
