Description Been messing about with the Waffen SS Plane Tree paradigm using Ekeladolph's  'Egyptian plane tree' and Tounushi's 's black overlay and the fine tutorial of the 'King in grey', managed to produce decent results and adapted them to modern tastes have a look in the RAR to DOWNLOAD. If you think they are good enough, could Mathias1978 please test them in Arma3?

Sorry for the comment 2 days ago, I sounded more rude than I intended to. But indeed, resorting to shorter pattern names would really improve their usability in ArmA 3 tests .

Ok my friend , don't want you to become frustrated, what's the best way to name these pesky patterns for Arma3 then?

Good question, how about assigning MK1, MK2 etc., or combine it with suffixes like MK1H for Herbst or MK2W for Woodland, something like that.....
You could provide a Readme file to give credit to other editors that helped you with that.

All good ideas and worthy of consideration, I've still got to have a go at your Autumn patterns; the weather at the moment is pretty lousy here, would it be ok if I put your autumn/fall camos into my own autumn pictures?

Sure, I would be very grateful if you did. I did my own camo test with autumn camos I already printed out (up to and including Ghosthawk Fall). I will publish the pics a bit later, as I cannot spam this place with my camo alone. .
Unless you are posing my patterns in front of actual autumn-leaved bushes, the orange-dominant patterns are out of place for snowless winter seasons, because forest floors are too brown - you might want to take this into consideration if you want to save time on the printer and in the field.

Thank you very much!

Okay dokey, see what I can come up with!!!
Did you manage to make sense of the Plane tree patterns in Arma 3? Or do you need me to rename the pesky blighters?

Please be so kind to rename your patterns, as I cannot or at least am unwilling to assign those long pattern names to the uniform.png files I create with them.

Ok mate, see what shortened name I can come up with------ PL mki H etc., would that be too long or short enough?

Tried to apply to ArmA3 today but the designation system and pattern similarity makes me pull my hair out.
Please, for the love of god, camorus, resort to a MK-number or Phonetic Alphabet style! That's just too tedious to remember the long pattern names, and tell them apart at  distance in ArmA3 tests!

The pattern looks great - all versions of it. And thanks for the mention. I feel honored .

Your Egyptian plane tree pattern is in there as the base of it, somewhere, buried in the depths!!!! Thought was, why make the base when it already exists!

Looks intriguing, you can expect an Arma3 test in a few days at least, possibly this weekend.
