I would NEVER, EVER, EVER, watch Spongebob again if these 2 became a couple, that's probably 1 reason why Stephen doesn't want romance in his cartoon, because the show would lose LOTS of respect and fans, because it wouldn't make sense, plus they're a stupid couple in my opinion, it'd be hard for them to live together too, because an air and water breather, but it's not just that, the main reason i hate Spandy is because they're not right for each other, plus it was CONFIRMED that Spongebob is asexual, as well, so there's NO absolutely NO chance of Spandy happening, if someone has a problem, just tell me, and i'll argue back, because i love to argue with stupid people

If Spongebob and Sandy were in love I would feel sorry for them because they can't get married because they can't live with each other, Sandy can't move out of the tree dome and Spongebob can't live in it or else one of them would run out of oxygen. They can't even kiss because of those pesky helmets that they need to live.

I think this pairing is real, I'm not going to lie, as it's fairly obvious that it can be real. Hillenburg may have said that SpongeBob is not in love with Sandy, but then he left, so that changed. The only thing that stays is probably just the fact that the sponge is asexual. And plus, he can be a HETEROMANTIC asexual, which Spandy shippers like me think, but if it's not for you then it's not for you.

You`re completely right.The only reason this paring exist is because he`s a boy ,she`s a girl,fangirls need 2 characters to use as avatars for their little romantic fantasies so we got Spandy. It doesn't help that any "evidence" in canon that they like to throw at us are unbelievably superficial and shallow.
