Hey, everyone!So, I watched all 12 episodes of BNA: Brand New Animal on Netflix earlier this week and absolutely loved it!
I'm binge-watching Beastars Season 2 now. Originally, I was planning on watching Beastars first, then I was going to try to watch BNA. But, I got really curious to see what BNA was about, so I ended up watching BNA first.
BNA was really fun. It's a surprisingly wholesome anime. Shirou is my favorite character. I like his backstory a lot, and his friendship with Michiru was really sweet. To me, he almost seemed like a father figure or older brother stand-in for Michiru, since she did not have any family in Amina City to look out for her.
Yesterday, I drew these sketches of Shirou. All my digital drawings start out as hand-drawn, traditional sketches like this. But, they usually look way rougher than this because I add the details later in the digital stages. But, I wanted to practice an anime style, so I decided to just stick to the sketchbook this time and make more detailed, cleaner looking traditional sketches. Although, I might turn these sketches into a colored, digital drawing at some point, maybe.
