Description This is basically a chart showing the characters that have a super transformation.
Each character's superform/s is/are listed in his line; the superforms with a blue outline are ultimate only.

Oh, really? That would be really helpful!
The game's production itself is on hiatus until second order, but im still working on the game's sprite from time to time. So i could really use a little help! Be it with the character sheets, backgrounds or menus and HUDS, anything you can help with would be awesome

Alright, that's cool ^^ I've been taking a break from doing pretty
much anything gamewise for a long time now
I'm up for trying pretty much anything, though from what I've seen,
you seem to be using a large amount of the Sonic Battle graphics
for menus and backgrounds. From what I understand, the game
is a 2D fighter, a little like MUGEN?

Well, im using any sonic related sprite resource i can find to make the backgrounds.Β 
For the menus, im mostly using the sonic battle style, but im trying to improve it a little, customize it.
And yeah, the game itself has a 2d-fighter mechanic, much like mugen. But the actual gameplay would be different, so i dont plan on using mugen to make the game; instead, i was planning to use Macromedia flash 8. The thing is, im terrible at programming

Cool. You might have already, though usually
when I'm going Sonic style backgrounds I use the
sprites from the Sonic Advance games, theres a good
amount of them and they look good.
I see. I like to try and make games with Flash, where I do
my animations, to try and blend my animations with a game.
However, I know Flash is frustrating to make games with,Β 
and I don't know much about it. I only ever fiddled about
with basic turn based games, though I haven't uploaded
anything serious I ever made. I don't know barely anything
about making a fighter though... If I was, I'd use Construct
seeing as I know a little about that. But Flash is usuallyΒ 
better in the long run because Flash games are easy to
move around and upload.

you know, i did have a story planned for this game.
But when im not even certain that the game will actually be completed, I can't guarantee anything beyond the battle mode for now.

This is quite a nice line up.I am anxiously awaiting these super powered characters to be fighters in an actual game.

Sorry that my old Hexon sprites are THAT bad, by the way(Sorry if I'm just bringing this up out of nowhere, I just saw the Hexon sprites and realized that I've come a LONG way when it comes to spriting). If you want, I can make an effort at making the needed ones I made before look somewhat presentable...or at least better than the original ones.

Actually, the sprites i have of Hexon, and of his superform, match the style of the game perfectly. Sonic battle sprite style, with basically only custom movesets.
But tell me, when you say you'll resprite them, you mean you will translate them into that new style of yours? with the overpowered shading and all?

I could do that, it was going to be a sort of long-term side project;but I was hoping mainly to update them a bit like thisΒ  destro-the-dragon.deviantart.c… , with a more-prevalent outline and better shading on the head and clothes.

The thing is, the main reason that the game's production is in hiatus is because i realized that programming is not my thing. Im good with the design, therefore i can only work on the game's visual part, which i still do from time to time.
In order to provide an actual in-game screenshot, i would have to start the actual development of the game's script, and for that i need someone to program it for me.

Well, it depends on how complicated the game will be. If it's simple, you could probably find someone. But if its complex, well I don't think we will see actual development of the game for a while.

Well, define complex. The level of complexity depends not only on the game itself, but on the capacity of the programmer.
Sonic Clash would be similar to Sonic Battle, pretty much. The actual changes are in the base moveset for each character, and of course, it being a 2d-fighting game.

If the original concept idea, there are no tag-team combos. There are only assisti characters, think of them like a item that you can unlock and use in battle.

Basically, you can equip it like an item before the battle. You can choose between an assist character, a boost, or a superform variation.
For example, if you've chosen to play as Sonic, you can equip:

- A fire flower, so that when he transforms he will become Fire Sonic instead of Super Sonic;

- A power bar boost; that when activated will either accelerate the bar's regeneration, make it infinite for a limited time, or completely restore it;

- An assist character. When you activate the item, the character will be summoned on stage, and attack your opponent. If the character will keep attacking until it hits your opponent will depend on what kind of attack it uses.
