Sara was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on March 26th, 1994. That was the year the Ceasefire was called to begin talks to end the three-decade long conflict known as the Troubles. Sara was born to a Unionist family, who want Northern Ireland to stay in Britain, who originally came to Ulster in the 1600's from the MacKenzie Highland clan in Scotland. Tragedy struck her when she was one of the many wounded in the Omagh bombing done by IRA members who were against the Good Friday Agreement when she was four and a half years old. Her father, who worked for BP got a job transfer to Houston so Sara can heal from her PTSD by moving her out of Northern Ireland when she was seven.

Before the move she was friends with a girl from a Nationalist family, who want a unified Ireland under the Dublin Republic, who introduced her to Ireland's Celtic culture and history. Sara was fascinated by what she learned from her friend's family, and it made her sympathetic and supportive of the Nationalist's desire. This made her hated by her family who called her the 'Green Sheep' (a play on the term 'black sheep') of the family.

When Sara was a teenager, she went to Brearley, a prestigious all female high school in New York City, who was looking at a sports scholarship to college. She was a skilled European Football and Rugby player and dreamed of playing for either the Unified Irish female rugby team or the Republic of Ireland's female European football team (The Good Friday agreement gives the people of Northern Ireland Irish and EU citizenship if they so choose) when she was an adult

However, she had to keep it from her family that she was a lesbian from her parents. Her parents are supporters of the main Unionist political party in Northern Ireland, the DUP, who are very anti LGBTQ+. Sara fell in love with Keiko her dormmate and when she brought Keiko to her home in Texas for spring break, her parents caught Sara and Keiko making out. Sara's parents then said they were taking her back to Northern Ireland to force her to take gay conversion therapy (which is still legal in Northern Ireland) and hold her prisoner in the attic until she was the Unionist they wanted her to be. She ran away the night before the flight to Belfast. She was 16.

Sara had either been living on the streets or in prison for petty crimes when she tries to steal to get by. She is currently serving a ten-year sentence at Floraville Correctional Facility for manslaughter for accidently killing a man who tried to rape her when she was 17 by hitting him with a rock. They tied her to the crime with her dna samples from her incarcerations when she was 25. Even though she is in prison shes hay because she can finally be who she wanted to be and love who she wants.
