Description Tada! The long overdue 3000 Kiriban for This took a long time to color because of all the tiny details (laces, buckles, buttons, stitches... etc) It also took me a while to come up with a background i liked. I wanted something simple but interesting this time, and i THINK i came out with a decent composition.
My favorite things about this drawing are 1.) The boots. They're loosely based on a pair of boots i saw on Hot Topic's website. They came out JUST the way i wanted.
2.) The eyeshadow. Okay, it's just a little dab of purple, but i think it's a nice touch.
3.) His hair. Namely, the red and purple parts. I just think it looks kind of cool.
The shirt isn't that great, i tried looking at pictures of Mister Monotone Hiei to see how to shade the black, but it never turns out right for me. The pants are also loosely based off something from Hot Topic, and i just realized i ended up forgetting about the tatoo Seems like i totally twisted her request into something else, but she loved the sketch so hopefully she'll love this too!

There's a pair of pants at Hot Topic that are bellbottom-ish but they have those pink laces since i copied the idea from there There are also a pair of boots like that but they are shorter and have a shorter heel. The shirt i just imagined but you could probably make it. Hot Topic is a good place for outfits even if you're just drawing them. The Hot Topic commercial has now ended

Yeah he kind of looks like some kind of weird androgynous mix of a man and woman, like most of my drawings They just don't want to have manly hips, they want to be curvy.

Never drawn Hiei! EEEEEEEEEK That's crazy. And yeah, Hot Topic has some pretty magical shoes. My friend Justin got a pair a while back and never wears them! He should give them to me. Of course i always wear the same shoes anyway... heh.

I should, but I stink at drawing cannon anime characters. I can't draw Yugi Mutou worth shit anyway. Okay, so maybe that's not totally true. Tell you what, when I get around to it, I shall try to draw Hiei just for you.
