Is it too far fetched?You know, I love Plesiomon. I was sad that in the end they chose Vikemon as Gomamon's ultimate, but it makes sense and I've accepted it.
Then one thought crossed my mind: what if they give Plesiomon as Armadimon's ultimate?
PROS:
- Plesiomon is a dinosaur-type digimon like Ankylomon
- The color schemes aren't so different
- Upamon is an amphybian digimon (water theme)
- There is a progressiom from water (Upamon), to earth (Armadimon, Ankylomon), to air (Shakkoumon, Plesiomon)
- Armadimon's, Ankylomon's and Plesiomon's silhouettes are somewhat similar
CONS:
- Shakkoumon to Plesiomon doesn't work so smoothly
Sure, ClavisAngemon would make more sense as an ultimate (too many angels tho!); with a Brachimon between Ankylomon and Plesiomon it would make more sense. BUT this evolutionary line is already a mess and personally I love the weird Shakkoumon (and hey, it's digimon) SO, I wish they give Iori/Cody Plesiomon.
Of course this is just a stupid daydream and they'll go with ClavisAngemon or SlashAngemon

Yeah, if they give Armadimon/Hawkmon their own perfect Brachimon would be a good choice
