I've been running out of time to go to everyone's profile to thank them, but if you can't take the time to type a short comment, I'm not going to take the same time for you.

This is a painting on canvas I did in a couple of days. I thought of doing this for my bathroom. You see, I recently moved into a beautiful old apartment. One of those apartments that have 20 layers of paint on everything, lol. Well, in our bathroom (I live with my boyfriend of almost 3 years now, Mike), the medicine cabinet has a metal backing to the door, which didn't hold onto the layers of paint well and was falling off in whole chunks. So, I ripped the rest of it down in a matter of moments and I was deciding on what to do with such an ugly metal backing. So, I decided to make a canvas painting to put on the back. I didn't want to paint directly onto the cabinet door for a number of reasons. 1) Difficult to comfortably paint there the whole time. 2) I didn't want the painting to come off just as easily as the old paint years later. 3) I still haven't decided if I want to take it with me or not if I ever decide to move out, lol.
