Very nice. Very nice indeed.
What I like about this piece is the overall presentation of it and the theme. The theme obviously signifies or points out a character who possibly has a split personality, one that he loathes. On one side, one is nice and kind, but on the other, or rather underneath, he is a monster; an intelligent and devious killer, or at least that is what it appears to be. In some cases, this representation could signify that of a person who did something bad in the past that now haunts him or it could be a doppelganger demon, stalking his psyche.
Now, I do not know anything about the character you sketched before I commented, so, all of what I just said was what I interpreted this to be, seeing as this sketch could have multiple meanings, in which this does not have to based on a simple concept of a 'split personality'. To be honest, the reason why I said those other things is because I was just throwing out similar ideas of what you could have meant by what you drew. I hope this does not confuse you.
Going on, what I also like about this drawing is that it was drawn nicely, smoothly, and delicately. I see no mistakes. I also really like the expressions on both the two character's faces. The 'nicer' one looks scared and afraid, and the other one looks very menacing and psychedelic-like.
Do you think I overdid it over the completion of an old sketch?
Your probably thinking this right now:

Sorry, at least I showed you my opinion on the artwork.......

Always welcome!
I seriously wrote a mini-essay there. I like to have multiple interpretations on artwork, what it could represent. I was very good at deriving themes and plots from literature and artwork, well, mostly literature.
