I'm about to run off to deliver a drawing to NeXt ( the paper i work for) wish me luck!...so i'll make this as quick as possible.I think it is revolting to know that i live in a country where 2 consenting adults can not get married...but killing babies is perfectly legal...can anyone explain to me how we rationalized that?...we have too much freedom in this country..i think everyone once their 16 should manditorily get sent to like saudi arabia or some other country where women are looked at as infeaior creatures for like a week and get beaten on street corners so that they know how good they have it here...
It make's me ill whenever i think about politics...i seriously think we need like.. a black gay women presedent to fix how fucked up our country is...I drew this while i was at GLYS (gay lesbian youth servies and NO I'm still not gay...I just love me some gay people)
i drew this about 3-4 months ago...If i had the knowlage then that i have now i prolly would have used differnt chracters in this, but theres no sense in letting decent art go to waste now is there?

I do agree with you though..
If abortion is legal, gay marriage should also be. While were on that, so should marijuana, girls should be considered eligible to be married at the age of 16, and boys at 18..(that last one simply because for biological reasons. If we were raised correctly in this country, and not babied our entire lives, that would be more than possible. It happened back in the day, why the fuck cant it heppen now? If we had that permitted, than I bet you young girls aborting their babies would not be so socially accepted, and probably not nearly heard of as much as it is now.)
What is stupid about that is that they say gay marriage is illegal because its immoral (according to Christianity..thanks Mr.Pope=ass), however they permit the murder of unborn children, the drafting of young males to war (which will happen again soon, I promise you), etc...

However, I dont think a gay woman should be president.

I agree we need more loved children, thats a problem with our society not being able to take responcibility for it's own actions.but that doesnt mean we should resort to murder. if someone feels that they are ready for sex they must be ready for kids too. and if they arent theres millions of contraceptions out there that stop they from getting pregnant to start with. pills, shots, patches , spermacide, etc...if these things are used correctly no one will get pregnant- and in the OFF CHANCE of one in a million someone still gets pregnant with them contraceptions at work. theres adoption.
in this coutnry during the civil rights movment for womens rights susan B antony voted illegaly because she belifed women had the right to vote, the police wnated to go easy on her because she was a women but no. she didnet want that. she demended that she be sent to jail just like any man who broke the law...and i think thats what we should do to anyone who wants to stop a life to temporarily fix their own selfish problems. susan B antony fouht for equal rights in this country and she would be appauled to see that thousands get away with murder ever day...so if a women "elects to destroy her childs life" then she should atleast get sent to jail like any man who kills a pregannt women and her baby... women don't get pregnant by eating cookies...unless they were raped they need to take responcibiliy for their own actions.

I won't bother to go into that "elects to destroy her childβs life", because you seem refuse to accept there is a difference between a legal abortion (which has reasonable gestation time limits) and bashing a 3 year old on the head with a garden shovel. Such augmenting would undoubtedly fall into the moral question of when life begins, and we had better just agree to disagree.
However, on the other points:
1 - they arenβt there millions of contraception Do you honestly believe that any woman on earth would rely on abortion as a contraception? Abortion is a terrible emotional and psychological trauma to go through, people would never make that decision lightly, just because its legal? Abortion is an extreme measure, used in emergencies when everything else went wrong.
2 - if someone feels that they are ready for sex they must be ready for kids too Please... do you honestly believe that? The average age for a woman to initiate an active sexual life is 17. Do you honestly believe that a 17 year old girl is ready to support a family?
3 - The issue is not who is "pro live" vs who is "pro abortion", that is conservative rhetoric used to make anti-abortion sound more righteous, because no one, and i repeat no one is pro abortion, no one wants to have abortions, what people can be is for the un-banning of abortion. Do you honestly believe that any woman who is desperate enough to consider an abortion will change her mind because its illegal? It will happen anyway, the main difference is that, because its illegal she will have to have this abortion in some sleazy underground clinic that might cause her body permanent injuries, instead of having it in a clean and prepared environment such as a hospital.

I belive that this topic is overrated in a horrible way already, marriage isnt even used in heterosexual couples nowadays that i know, and an example of this are my parents, only legal link they have is that they are my biological parents, and they are still together, as a family, and we are living a happy-wee life.
Sure... give them the rights but please... for them to fucking shut the heck up already about their sexuality, they sure are either being pushed aside from some rights or they get pointed at, but they also never shut up. I saw that same stamp, and i commented on it some time ago, i have to say i loved its meaning.
Things are overrated of course, and skinny advertisement bitches are just something as bad as sexuality advertisement coming from the people themselves, seriously everytime someone tells me about their sexual orientation there is this bizarre minute of silence where i stare at his-her eyes like awaiting for something else... kind of like "....and?" though i sometimes prefer to say "do you think straight people go around like you saying that they are, in fact, heterosexual??"
About the skinny advertisements though.... they only seem to be perfume adverts...in others like "Dove" adverts you can see how they under they so known "For real women" slogan, use chubby or not stereotypical women, im glad they started this and i hope it jumps to other products, this way we have less paranoid women who like to buy tons of moistures or idiotic medicines to loose weight and have a better siluette.... less consumism and less contamination, less fashion... oh god..
