-Nothing Really Was ThereSo I was listening to Hong Kong by Gorillaz on repeat for a good 3 hours...and this is what was born!...that line really really describes Marie Jayne's personality... shes pretty but shes nothing but a drag on society... what good is outter beauty if you don't cultivate the inside? -- other then being every man's/Lesbian's fantasy, beautiful and stupid..but man won't that suck when yer older and beauty fades?
I tried a few new tricks i learned from =zombielily on this...I'm still debating weather i like them or not...I just felt a strong urge to draw Marie Jayne with her classic vacant expression. and who am I to ignore art urges!?...She's so fun to draw..but god i hate her guts so much..but as a chracter? i adore her...p.s..i hate her left hand..don't look at it.
also since this was inspired by music...I'm double whammying it into an entry for *PolythenePucko 's sound activated contest [link] ..I have no idea when she'll stop accepting entries so if you wanna enter do it soon! i know i have 2 more thing's i'd like to enter.

It was a song they did for the warchild effort, 1$ per download. all proceeds got donated to warchild. It's a really beautiful song tho- XD i have some friends who got offended that i stuck it with such a rotton chracter.

Like most people that have commented. My eyes went to her boobs when the picture loaded. I couldn't help it! xD They're just so perkily drawn in just IN YOUR FACE.
They're good boobies though. I don't know why, but I like how you did the lineart in this picture with the randomly bolded lines. I'm digging the shading on her boo--I'm just digging the shading xD Only like Sherry said--the background is a wee bit too distracting.

think about it. stereotypes come from somewhere.like people who say blacks steal VCRs and crap or puerto ricans are lazy (because most of us are XD) and most of the kids -I- personaly know who are on drugs are rich/pretty white kids. it's a shame really that people misrepresent their race.

Its nice but the background really kills it. Like, its really bad xD; Dispite the fact that shes a drug addict and probably sees the colours, I find it too bright and drowns her out completely.
However the the colouring overall looks great, but you need to stop colouring with such vibrant hues because Im sure you've noticed that you cant shade some colours proporly, and thats your problem. You can make a colour that isnt as bright as you want, and then shade it up so it is~ Thats what I do.
Nice entry too, I like how you did her hair the most here.

Her neck could be a TAD more curved - just to keep it looking feminine. But everything is looking good. Especially her right arm/shoulder and her boobies.
