“Would you like to make your last request before I finish the both of you up?” she asked. I screamed and clawed her up.
“Leave me alone! You are not mine, you were never mine, and you will never be mine, so let me go. Oh give me mercy!”
I felt around for a way out for I couldn’t see, then my karate skills came into action…it was all in a blur. I poked her deep in the eyes, I banged her own head against the shattering mirror for a number of times, I punched her in the nose, I kicked her in the face…and before I knew it…I was fighting and spitting like a cat. *WACK!* *STOMP* *BANG*…*CRASH!!* I finally turned around to scream for help and run, but as I turned, I felt a new painful grasp.
“Let go of me you demon! Stop it!!” I screamed….*Shatter* the grasp was gone.
Suddenly, everything went black in the building; I could not see what was happening. I heard the sounds of destruction, struggling, choking, and crashing. I gasped for breath in the pure darkness as I rested my drained self on the now cracked wall; cold beads of sweat running down my face and my long neck as I grew more pallid than ever. My hands trembled violently and my lips quivered, the dark ruby blood bubbling out from my throat.
But I felt no pain, only emotional pain. I had to do it. I had to fight. Dead or alive, I want my Rose to be safe regardless of the costs.
The terrifying sounds stopped at last. “My God” I whispered in the darkness. I lifted my head and ran my fingers over my body, smearing the blood all over, watching the stars sparkle from my glossed up skin. The stars floated up to my face, but I did not care; I wanted all this to go away. With my final strength, I lifted my arm to block the light. I closed my eyes and succumbed to the pall of darkness.
