Personalities - we-elllll...
Blue-feller seems like he'd be a little more cool-headed and sensible, perhaps the more book-smart of the two. The umbrella also makes me think he'd be rubbish in a fight or at athletic things, but maybe that's only what he wants you to think.
Red-feller is probably more outgoing, smoother and suave-er, but more... rash or impetuous? More self-confident, perhaps to the point of cockiness, but bad at dealing with stuff where he needs to suppress his personality. His friends' parents wouldn't necessarily think he's a wholesome guy, for example.
Heheh, I have no idea if that's anything like what you were thinking, but there you go.
I do this all the time - attach personalities to characters that I only ever draw once. Oh well. Perhaps you enjoyed reading the doofery, yes?
