if you're using photoshop, click image size. make sure to resize as double, triple, quadruple, etc of the original size (this is 100px by 100 px from 50px by 50px)
there should be a drop down menu at the bottom of the window that pops up. set it to nearest neighbor (preserve hard edges)
and there ya go! :>

if you have gimp you can also do it, you'll set it to none instead. Gimp is a free program :>
SAI will always ruin resized pixels unfortunately unu
