I think Gray is a bit too pride, too. I think he will see how important is Juvia to him now, when it's too late or it happens something bad with her. But I hope he gives her a chance.
And in my opinion Gray didn't reject her. Mashima is trolling us again liek always. The whole situation was more comedy than seriousness.

And yes I agree. I hope he is just trolling, because first he gets our hopes up and then smashes them like nothing orz. I wish he'd sometimes give juvia a more serious attitude... He only uses her for comic relief

He's for sure trolling. If Mashima didn't want this couple, he didn't have draw them. In the next chapter, he draw them together too and it was all normal (okay not complete. Gray was a bit upset, but she cheer him up). I agree with you. He have to gibe her a serious attitude. Juvia is a funny character, but it annoys me too, that he uses her for comic relief. I hope he'll change it.
