Description My daughter left her cat with me for two days, he laid with me the whole time...

update: I have 5 dislocated ribs, a sprain wrist, still very swollen in chest and back, and slight head trauma which hopefully is just from the swelling in my head .I feel pretty good considering...lol

Omg Candy! So sorry to hear about your horrible car accident!
I hope you heal quickly and that your pain is minimal...awww..poor thing....umm, I read that you need to keep your legs elevated, above your heart level [no pun intended ] sleep with a pillow or two under your feet/legs to keep from swelling/edema....sooooo..get those legs up!!

thanks honey, i'm feeling better day by day..my hand is still very messed up but i think it will be ok soon..where in Florida do you live?? I'm going to Ft l. n a few days for a ten days..

Welcomes! glad that you are feeling better! Is your hand sprained? no broken bones I hope? Did the air-bag hit it during the accident? :/

I live on the west coast of Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico, about mid Florida, one hour north of Tampa. Ft. Lauderdale is more south and on the florida's east coast, just north of Miami. If you can, take a drive/touring bus down to Key West, it's just under 4 hours, it's like Bermuda..beautiful white sand beachs, lots of fun, bars, restaurants, museums, etc.. you'd love it! Have fun in Florida my dear friend, and get well...don't go in the sun until after 2:00 or you'll burn...

it was pretty bad, got hit at 60 mph, thats a huge impact in any car..

wow Candy, you've got a lot going on! i am so sorry that you have to go through all this, and that the kid had no insurance. as for his jail sentence, he is old enough to know right from wrong, and driving with a warrant! just wow. things could have been so much worse for you, i shudder to think of it.

the most important thing is that you take all the time you need to rest and recover at your own pace so that you're healthy and fully healed. my thoughts and warm energy are with you sweetie!

thanks Jenna, you are so darn sweet..its pretty up and down right now..one day i feel ok the next I'm crying...My head finally feels better this morning, like some of the swelling has gone down and i can type again..My vision has cleared more.going to attempt to draw tonight..I have two commissions to finish so I can buy groceries hahahah thanks for being my friend sweetie.
