Usually I just avoid drawing characters in boring poses, like, just standing there or something like that, which I guess counts as practice :b

I try do the same thing but perhaps I'm not as successful...? lol
But it's just the foreshortening in this pose is perfect!! I have a really hard time thinking up poses with foreshortening (and also foreshortening itself), so when I saw this I was like "WOW" lol. So I guess what I was asking was, do you have any tips with foreshortening?

Thanks! It's good to hear I succeeded in the foreshortening, since it is really hard! <:b
Ehhh well I don't really know any special tricks or stuff like that, but I guess the only important thing to remember is that the closer the object gets the bigger it seems. Sometimes I try to pose in front of a mirror to see how things would look like. I think that observing how things work is the best way to learn, as well as just drawing something and checking if it looks okay. :0
I think over exaggerating the size of an object that's really close makes things look better. That way it looks a little more intense, and not so bland. :>
