Great job on the background and the proportions/foreshortening of the bodies. Your background is pretty great for character designs. It's very neutral, so it doesn't distract from the figures, and it's a lot more interesting and nice than a solid color or plain white.
I do have one critique for you, though. The dude's facial features are a bit too low on his head, making his forehead look pretty large. If his face were angled down more, it wouldn't be an issue, but his face looks like it's angled almost vertically. The girl's face is obviously angled a bit more downward than his, but she almost has a similar issue going on.
I have a lot of trouble drawing faces at upward and downward angles, myself. Sometimes I use posemaniacs ( [link] ) or photos to check facial proportions at weird angles.
