For the longest time I this cool but cruel final boss idea of King Boo possessing Mario and forcing him to kill Luigi. Mario is still in there however and tries to fight back from within, telling his brother to save himself. Kind of similar to Jennifer in Splatterhouse only less gory.(c) NintendoΒ
