- Torpor
- Ajax can put others to sleep through touch! It's most effective when touching the face, and it helps if the other person is tired too. He has an aura around him that can make others feel drowsy if around him too long.
- Side Effect/Drawbacks: This power directly links to the amount of sleep he lacks! The more sleep he's missed, the more effective it is. It only works through direct skin to skin contact and takes time to go into effect (from a few seconds to a few minutes depending)
- Dream A Dream You Little Bleep
- Thanks to being a sandman, he has the ability to manipulate dreams! Using his "sand" (it's very fine bits of his scales that flake off, it has the consistency of sand.), sprinkling it into someone's eyes while they sleep, he can give others good dreams... or bad dreams. It's dependent on his mood.
- Side effect: Since the sand is part of his body, it can start to hurt him if he overuses it. It's like peeling skin!!
- Insomnia
- His ability makes it extremely hard to fall asleep, which is a good thing for him power wise but... It leaves him extremely exhausted and fatigued. It also makes him fall asleep at random.

Ajax is an individual who holds his head up and thinks highly of himself, he tries not to let inconveniences slow him down or life’s hardships break his stride. He's relaxed almost to the point he's seen as lazy, paired with a disinterest to do a lot of things and a fairly monotone, flat voice it's understandable why. He sounds uninterested in most things. Most of the time he has a carefree attitude when it comes to things, he goes with the flow and his plans can be easily shifted.
His general ‘go with the flow’ doesn't mean he won't be annoyed with anything. In fact, he is quite irritable! As easily annoyed as he is, he's rarely angry. He might slip in a snarky comment or a small jab, but nothing out of bad intentions and only meant to be a little tease.
While he’s all for talking to others, he’s slow to open up to people about anything deeply personal.
He can come off as impolite whether it’s intentional or not: interrupting, messing with something on the table, yawning, generally seeming uninterested.
He's not as dumb as he acts... Maybe it's the gifted kid syndrome, maybe it's Maybelline. He's quite intelligent! He just doesn't put the effort in.

Dad (Aleksandr Romanov) was a Mare, Mom (Seijun Koizumi-Romanov) was a Sandman.
He accidentally knocked his dad out at a firework show when he was up on his shoulders.
His abilities started to develop late! He used to be able to get a good nights sleep, but since his powers began to manifest it was extremely hard to do so now. The only way he was able to fall asleep most nights was when his mother would sing him to sleep. (Her abilities were sleep-related too! Her singing could put others to sleep. He took on her sleep habits ruh roh.)
Halfway through his middle school year, his mother was arrested for reasons unknown to him.
He never really... figured it out. His dad is keeping it tightly under wraps, which is horrifying to him. What did she do < : )
This damaged Ajax and his dad’s reputation, Ajax having similar abilities to his mom (along with looking like a spitting image of her) made kids whisper and point. Aleksandr being married to Seijun called his trustworthiness into question, and eventually, this was the final nail in the coffin for their decision to move to HHH.
Sadness over the months turned into anger at his mom, he took it out on his classmates which resulted in suspension. He blamed the other kids for being annoying, and never shutting up. He lost friends due to this and eventually decided he’ll just do his own thing. His work ethic in school significantly dropped, he stopped caring about it.
The only people that really stuck around were Kashi and Noro, and they remain some of his best friends to this day!
Going through the rest of middle school, his anger completely fizzled out and he just... let it go to the back of his mind. He didn't care about what happened in the past and is determined to not let it affect him in the future.
