I've been wanting to upload my old crap for quite some time now... so I'm finally getting around to it. This way the art you never saw gets seen and you can take a look on how I've progressed as an artist.I used to be pretty dang sucky, I have no idea how anyone ever saw anything in me XD
Anyways here's the first of I'm sure many to come: The Riley Edition! Includes almost all the Riley art I've found in my sketchbooks... back when I actually drew in sketchbooks (hate those things)
Have fun taking a look at it all and don't be afraid to laugh, some things really deserve it.

My theriotype is that of a canid, and most likely domestic. However the specific beyond that are unclear... but using the clues through behavior, phantom-limb characteristics, and personality, I choose to represent myself as a German Shepherd Dog because the breed's temperament and physical qualities are the closest matches I have been able to find. How about yourself?
Now before I can really answer your second question, that greatly depends on what your definition of a "furry" is. :3

Only about 9% of all furries actually yiff.
and maybe a tiny bit more claim to, but are actually just trolls shut into their bedrooms, crying at their own lives, or lack of one.
And then the furries who "internet-yiff"
But then again, you have to point out, Furries are -humans-, just with fursonalities.
A furry f***ing another furry in a suit is no different that humans getting at it with clothes on.
Its just that for the most "advanced race" we humans sure are stupid. XD
The bad side of furries that people seem to think exists, are the ones who claim furries are all about bestiality.
Pretty much every "furry" who claims to go at it with wolves in the wild would have been circumcised via angry fangs by now, therefor they lie.
You can draw yiff, you can take a photo of yiff, but you cant take a photo of howling with wolves while your peepee is up the wrong end of a shewolf.
Therefor a furry who claims bestiality, is not a furry, but a troll.
Or both.

In that sense then yes, I am a furry. Riley is a representation of me and also my fursona. I involve myself in furry websites and go to furry conventions and have furry friends. I very much enjoy anthropomorphic artwork since it is so symbolic for me, but I certainly lean on the more realism/feral side of the furry artwork and don't enjoy any of the fetishes.

Nah, you're not a complete oddball among oddballs. I think that a lot more therians would be more gung-ho about associating with furries if they didn't get such a bad rep. It's understandable why most people would be so defensive of that label.

Wow, well you're most certainly welcome. Though I wouldn't label my life as "fantastic" I'm glad it's been such an inspiration for you.
And like I keep telling people, year after year will always bring improvements in your art. Trust me, you're guaranteed to improve. All it takes is time and practice.

Well, I can understand how form your perspective your life doesn't seem "fantastic" but you have great friends, are awesome at drawing, have a nice boyfriend, and know how to have a good time. Plus you aren't influenced by sex, drugs, alcohol, or anything bad like that. To me, that's nothing short of fantastic, because almost NO ONE AT ALL is like that, in the entire world.
