Earlier today, I was thinking about how love was like a rose,but I was just thinking that metaphor could also apply to life. There's going to be the thorns of life that prick you and tear you up good,but you should remember the beautiful petals that bloom on top and rise above the thorns to give you hope(the happy moments of life). The yellow background, the light sparks, the rose petals and the star represent the happy moments and the throns and black background represent the painful moments of life. The yellow is symbolically placed above the black and thorns to show that the light(happy times) can rise above the thorns and dark (the painful times.) Also, the little sparks are the light seeping in to get rid of the darkness.
