Just more stuff related to Rook's history. This is the quick ref I've been using for Rook's past self as well as Mira. I just decided to go ahead and put it over in my gallery instead of stash. It's been sitting in there forever (which probably shows in some of the art). I can always scrap it if/when I do make a refined version. the anthro art at least needs to be redrawn, but I don't know when I'm going to do it. fairly happy with the lineless drawings though :> some of this is info that's been posted under other drawings, but since this is a ref (albeit a rough one) I went ahead and stuck it here:

Both of them are somewhere in their 30s here (Rook is 52 in his "current" version). Rook was leaner and his fur was at least a little bit less of a mess than it is now. He also had more scars on his arms (forelegs if drawn quadruped) because this is closer to the time he did a lot of his knife fighting, and some scars have healed over time in his present design.

Mira is some kind of Russian wolf, probably the tundra wolf (Canis lupus albus). Her design features thick fur and a compact build, with some specific features like eye and ear shape and the fur that sticks out on the back of her head/neck. I'm thinking ESTP for her Myers-Briggs type, but I'm not 100% sure (Rook is ENTP). Not sure what color her clothes are there, it could be anything fitting with tactical styles (probably gray and/or black).

Going to hold back on any backstory information for now though :> Mira mainly wore different variations of tactical clothing (or simple and practical otherwise) and wasn't as much a fan of dressing fancy as Rook. Her job was essantially a hired gun for the Russian branch of the Organization (the mob/criminal group Rook worked for for a long time). Often this entailed working security at various events and dealings, and I'm thinking this is how they met, when the European branch had him working in Russia.
