They are indeed, not dogs.

That is an accurate interpretation of the information : D

Rook!Human is my favorite. I enjoy him. I think he's the most successful translation to me.
Everyone else is giving you nice critique already, so all I can really suggest is after you get a good handle on the human face in general, try altering features a bit more, specifically noses. All your noses are the same shape. Face shape is also somewhat similar too, but that's to be expected when not accustomed to drawing humans. I know for me in learning I would try just getting the idea of where things go down first then starting to work on individualizing features like eyebrows, noses, lips, cheeks, chin, etc. Cause characters have to be unique outside of their hair.
I think that's why I find Rook so appealing here... he just looks so unique with his wrinkles, tired eyes, and fuzzy brows!

I think the more stylized and less oval-eyes turn out the nicest. The faces are all fine, but some of the eyes just look a bit off. The ones that are more triangular or boxy just feels more natural with the style. I can't quite explain why.

Oh yeah? I didn't even notice doing either specifically, haha. Eye shape's weird to get used to after drawing animals so long. I do tend to like sharper shapes just in general though, so that could be it maybe. I'll definitely keep that in mind for further practice! ^^

These do look like you're improving with drawing humans :uĀ
I didn't know Rook was so old ahhhh
He's a graying older gentleman [tho not really a gentleman, ahah]
I like the way you drew Storm and Cornelius the most :0
Looks a bit like your hair is similar to how you draw fur.Ā Hair's similar but not the same as fur, and I think it's easier to draw it as a big shape first, then to work on loose details (not individual hairs, unless you're going for ultra super realism, ahah).Ā The shape of the hair will get lost in too many details, and that may be why it looks a bit scribbly/messy on some of your sketches.
Here are a few tutorials that may help:

Haha, he's around Foshog's age and I didn't even know it ahhh
It's pretty neat to think someone his age is still out and about, doing crazy activities, haha.
Yeah, it can be a challenge at first (like anything), but hopefully those will help you out and you can draw hair without worry! :0

Oooh, humanized Mama! All the spikes! Or, spiky hair. Wonder how much she spends on gel.
^^ Thank you Canis!

And how long she spends fixing her hair in the morning, haha.
You're welcome, glad you like it! : D

Thank you! 8D Ah yeah side views are so hard. I think this is maybe the first time I've done one I didn't hate. xD
And it's odd, I've been doing humanized expressions on animals for so long that I feel like I'm trying to figure out expressions on humans backwards or something, if that makes any sense at all haha :'D Glad these work! ^^
