I keep coming back to this picture (as well as to others haha). I love this on so many levels.
Lucilia's expression, the two stubborn wisps of hair, the torn pearl necklace, Sylvain's struggling, the blood. I also love the pastel tones as a contrast to the violent/dramatic theme. The picture literally speaks and tells stories, about the scenario itself, about the characters. Fantastic.

What happened to the two of them, might I ask? As someone who wants to be a writer, I'm very interested in character development, character backgrounds, and character relationships! I DO need to get better with plot structure, though X)

Eventually, yes, though I'm guessing it might be more of a manslaughter. I don't think she purposefully intended to kill him, but things escalated. I haven't made up my mind.

There's something weird happening with these dogs' front legs that makes this look off... (like, it looks like she has another shoulder growing out from under her left one--and the leg attached to it looks withered and broken). It is purposely supposed to be an extra? If so, then nevermind.
Other than that, everything else looks really good. I do like the color use use as well as their facial expressions--especially hers.

The dog in question (Lucilia) was born with an anomalous parasitic twin that manifests as an extra pair of front legs. Because the additional legs technically belong to another individual, the nerves and muscles within aren't really in sync with the rest of her body, rendering the legs mostly unusable. As a result they're limp, withered and deformed.

This is beautiful. D: The shattered pearl necklace really caught my eye first. I LOVE the floofy tail and the emotions on their faces.
I have to be honest though, I've never seen your art before (HOW???), and didn't know anything about your character Lucilia and.. I was VERY confused at that extra arm, LOL. I thought her right shoulder blade/arm was very.. VERY broken. D8
