HEY GUYS THE STARTER EVOS HAVE JUST BEEN ANNOUNCED AND I HAD TO DRAW THEM!

lol jk the real ones would have been all over the internet by now.

So here they are:

Fennekin (fennec + kindle)
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze (it's pretty obvious)
Species: Fox Pokemon
(well, you already knew all this)

Cindox (cinder + fox)
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Species: Fox Pokemon

Caniston (canid/canis + phlogiston en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phlogist…
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Species: Maned Wolf Pokemon

Ugh, both such lazy names, especially Cindox. I'm open to suggestions.

The inspirations are: fennec(duh), red fox and maned wolf.

They're like a real world Pokemon evolution.

I feel like this is the time to express my opinions on the starters and a few other things, too.

I've been stalking forums enough to know about all the rumors floating around.
The biggest one pokebeach.com/2013/06/pokebeac… has been right multiple times and it claims that the starters will be Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic and Water/Fighting.
However, the rumor still has been slightly incorrect in places, and it is possible that the source has added fake information as well so legal stuff won't happen or something like that idk.
And I've noticed something: all the dual-typed starter's secondary types have ALWAYS been "physical" types, so Dark and Psychic wouldn't fit. (Also, all the eeveelutions have been "special types", now we're missing only Dragon) Now, I understand that the physical/special type system no longer exists, but these seem like solid patterns. There are less special/special types compared to special/physical types anyway.
Apparently a reverse triangle (not even a perfect triangle since Dark has no effect of Psychic) has also been a longtime fandom wish, and I think it would kind of neutralize the excitement of the triangle.
There is another rumor too that implies Chespin to be Grass/Rock, but it's stated there that some of the information is false. There is also no credibility to it.

For now my guesses/hopes are:
Chespin: Grass/Rock or Grass/Steel (maybe Grass/Ground) because of the hard shell
Fennekin: Fire/Ground because it's a desert dweller or pure Fire (people seem to forget that pure types exist too, in fact they're very common)
Froakie: Water/Flying because of the foam cloud thing or Water/Fighting because of the overall look/stance. Pure water can happen too.
I don't know which one I'm gonna pick yet. I'll make my decision when the evos are revealed.

But at the end of the day, I think we can all agree on something.

We don't want Fennekin to be Fire/Fighting.
