The inspiration behind this design was pretty vague. It was a mix of ninjas, rogues and thieves. People have started to speculate a soldier/army theme, but I didn't have the time to incorporate it to this. I wouldn't had any idea how to do that anyway.

It's pretty clear that Froakie will be either half Dark or Fighting. I'm hoping for the latter since I'm getting Yveltal.

Interesting design. I think you should do a sequel piece to compare and contrast with the official final form.

Or you could just redraw the official starter in your style and have your theory version comment on himself.
