This piece is very highly detailed and the expression that you have implemented really resonates well with the character! I also love the lighting and shading that you used! The really dark shades contrast with the light and make in essence, a more chaotic looking piece! The character design is very magnificent and I also love the inclusion of the chocolate milk which adds humor to this! The subtle details are very beautiful such as the graininess of his mane to the soft textures of the sky! THis is a very well done piece of work! I love all of the different shading, and shades of the same colors make it look like you can just see him turning around and it being the same all the way around. This pose with Discord drinking that beverage in his hand (is it coffee?) makes him seem more like an evil chaos-maker. The way you put his hands make him look like "Oh, yeah, I'm just too awesome for you" or something like that. This background is amazing with Discord's colors! The mellowness of the colors, and the way you slightly blurred of the sky and clouds make the vivid and amazingly drawn character stand out really well.
I absolutely love this new shading technique that you are trying out here, and I would absolutely love to see more of it from you!

this is great! though it is fan art, so i had to mark it down for that, this a visually stunning, it fooled my eyes on how detailed it is i thought it was a 3d model when i glanced at it XD. anyways i find the use of colors in the background to emphasize who the character is and the way he is looking down at you is great. besides the fact that i cant give it originality i only have one error, you cant tell his paw hand is a paw, i thought it was another griffon claw

Something's wrong about this. It looks beautiful, don't get me wrong, but something's off. It looks like Discord, but it doesn't feel like him. The feeling of mischief is gone, replaced with a cold, calculative entity. He seems... evil.
