I have a soft spot for the Saber and Steamrunner classes. Just a couple goofy ships trying to make it in the universe!

I have some issue with the Norway class BUT given a choice of one of the four here I would still choose the Norway class ship as my command.ย Or just to be assigned to that class of ship.ย It's straight forward and has a crew of just more than the Intrepid class.ย The Intrepid is listed as having a standard crew ofย approximately 140 to maybe 150.ย The Norway is listed as a having a standard crew of about 190 to 200.ย The Norway appears smaller on screen but she can carry a crew of almost 200 makes her one of the larger ships of the post-Borg era.ย Starfleet seemed to be more interested in smaller ships with more combat prowess over the much larger ships like the Galaxy class once the battle of First Contact occurred.ย I read that one thing they were going for with the newer ships was a lower profile as the traditional "necks" were a problem and very vulnerable.ย So, all the ones here and the Sovereign class all have a low profile with a minimum 'neck' if any.ย ย
