ok, ok, raiden. I understand. You're tired, you're oozing ninja juice out of your nose, and you broke an inexplicably manicured nail breakdancing with all of those Gekkou.
but I was playing this game at like 4 AM with ~pinklenses and when she saw Vamp go down she was like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, RAIDEN? DON'T JUST WALK AWAY! CUT OFF HIS HEAD!!!"
so, ~pinklenses , this one's for you man.

I'm just gonna chalk it up to Raiden being depressed as all hell due to the hole Aw-shit-I-lost-my-body-my-wife-and-my-kid business.
In retrospect it frightens me how quickly would the game just END if he wasn't so self-destructive throughout MGS4. No long speeches, no explanations, no plot-twists. JUST MURDER.

my favorite part of the whole breakdancing fiasco is when you first start talking to raiden i turned to my friend and said, "Raiden's gonna show up and BREAKDANCE!" and i was kidding.
and then it happened.
and then the thing where they catapulted people onto Outer Haven? that happened too. siiigh.

I bet Kojima just made Raiden be stupid like that for the split-screen cutscene/Gekko attacking part later. Just for the awesome factor.
I actually hated that split screen a bit because I really wanted to enjoy pwning the Gekko with that awesome railgun AND watch the fight BUT I COULDN'T DO BOTH which was obnoxious. One time I tried actually watching the fight and I died and that was my only goddamned continue in the game augh.
Anyway faving this because it's true.

lol the splitscreen, almost forgot about that part! yeah I died at the splitscreen part more than once because i couldnt focus on one screen at a time!! of course that couldve been because id been playing the game for like 10 hours with no sleep BUT STILL.

I love MGS4, my Sis passed it today and the ending was really lovely, alot of surprises
Love how it got wrapped up for Raiden n Rose and Meryl and Johnny

Rather creepy--and it's actually just his spine and head, excluding the lower jaw. And how did Raiden's hair turn from blond-yellow to white-silver over the course of a few months? Bleach and angst?!
I really like the comic, canofstag; it still perplexes me why Jack's thinking in-game is so...convoluted at times. Ah well, he's a silly cyborg ninja!
