I imitated this sketch from "How to Draw and Paint Birds" by Lynn Bogue Hunt. The original work was by Walter T. Foster. I've always wanted to draw a sparrow because many Bible verses talk about how if God would take care of the sparrows, how much more would he take care of you? (Matt. 6:26 and Matt. 10:29) Also a couple of my favorite songs mention the sparrows. ("Jireh" by Elevation Worship & "Sparrows" by Cory Asbury) Just thinking about this helps me calm down when I stress and worry.
