Ta so much! I have a book of Celtic knotwork, and when I looked at one, it kind of looked like a flower, and one that looked like it could be a stem, so I combined them. I have to say I am quite happy with the way they came together. I'm glad you like them too.

I like the knot work. Is there a meaning of the droplets near where the circle goes through the stems?

Ta so much... The knotwork is actually two combined ancient patterns that I found in a book about knotwork. They fit perfectly together to make the form of the rose.

As for the droplets, aye, they have a meaning. The woman that I designed the tattoo for wanted 3 roses for her 3 daughters. Somehow incorperated into the design was to be a silver chain, symbolizing their strength. The chain was to be pierced by the thorns of the roses, symbolizing the hard times, and 3 drops of blood for the blood, sweat, and tears shed.
