Description
When Hank Pym took control over the world by starting the Great War against the superhumans, the mutants were the main targets of Pym and William Stryker. A lot of them perished. One of them, Sage (Tessa Hartley) survived and hid with the Underground under the protection of Nomad and Laser Beam. Due to her powers, they asked her to become the Head of the Network, a team created by Nomad himself, that had to make the connections between every outlaw team of the rebellion against Pym.

Other superhumans accepted to join the team and worked alongside Sage:
Black Box (Garabed Bashur), a powerful mutant;

Phoebe Cuckoo, a part of the Stepford Cuckoo, whose only goal is to find her last three sisters;
Network (Virginia Potts), who had been given items from Stark Tech by Tony Stark himself;
Sikorsky, former member of the Starjammers, who crashed on Earth and joined the Underground;
Madame Web, powerful psychic, who accepted to work with Nomad because she saw it.

Due to his extra-terrestrial nature, Sikorsky couldn’t be manipulated by Pym’s technology and couldn’t join his Iron Legion. He was saved by Sage and she took him to Nomad. Together, they lived and worked in a basement of the Underground base, and remained a secret to Hank Pym.
