I'd say this took around 3 class periods. This is a lot bigger than most of my normal doodles n other such things.
Origin: (Ok here it goes, get ready, and blast off!)
I got the idea for this character in my Gym class while walking around the track. The sky was clouded and gloomy, and everything was dead silent. I figured... what would disrupt this depressing yet tranquil autumn morning? Then it hit me... A MONSTER THING WITH A DOME FOR ITS HEAD THAT HAS AN ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM INSIDE IT AND IT JUST HAPPENS TO WANT TO KILL THINGS! So I stole a sheet of the extra big paper from my school's art room, and started drawing what came to mind with that as a base.

Fun Facts:
Did you know I've drawn this monstrosity 3 times? The second being just plain awful and the third being slightly alright... yet each time it looks completely different other than the bioshpere for the head. (HENCE THE NAME MY FRIENDS, SHAPOW)
There is a big line down the page because I had to fold it up to fit it in my binder when it was raining one day as I left school... damn ecosystem and it's irony.
Ohohoh! Almost forgot... every time he has reflective breasts... LOL AMIRIGHT?
