hahaha ya know, its been so long that I've actually read comics that I've never seen any of Skottie's work. But he's a pretty famous, prominent Marvel artist from Chicago, who is actually about your age heh

I can't stand his style.
But I give him props for making it.
I can't stand superheroes (for the most part) but I'm really loving Daniel Acuña work on Uncle Sam and Ben Oliver on Ultimate X-men (I have 75+76, I'll probably never read them but they sure are pretty). Lee Carter is awesome as well. Check all those guys out - that's what I like anyway.

man, its hard for me to even toss out any names of comic artists I like because its been so long. I guess I could say I like John Byrne's style from the classic Uncanny X-Men of the 80's, as well as Jim Lee's run on the X-Men in the early 90's, though his style of drawing abdominal muscles is kinda wonky. And I have to state it here, I absolutely hate hate hated Todd McFarlane's style on Spiderman and Spawn. It was just plain ugly.
The guys who did the pencils on the beginning of the new G.I. Joe and Thundercats series a couple years back were really good. Don't know there names though.
Best comic industry related artist to look up would be Jo Chen. Phenomenal stuff!

Yea, I like her stuff. But I like dirty looks more.
I saw some new Jim Lee stuff the other day... the new Wildcats book. I can't stand his work now, it must have been a style I could only like when I was 13. (or maybe he was better back then)
Byrne is the man. Especially that iconic Wolverine sewer pic. (you know the one?) Good stuff.
Did you ever read [link] v Transformers? It was set during World War II and drawn by Jae Lee.
Check it! It's awesome!
