Description
Experimental snow activated ink pigment and pen and ink on canvas.
I used Derwent Inktense blocks on canvas, then took it outside during our last blizzard to let the snow activate the dry pigment.
Finished it out with a little pen and ink.

Pretty cool! The snow gives it that "je ne sais quois" - probably spelled that wrong, but at least I tried.

I think this is my favorite one of. I really like the effect of the snow. I'll have to try that some time.

I had originally gone up to my building's roof to catch the snow,
but the building management had closed off the roof because of blizzard conditions,
so I had to take it down to the street!

After I got back with the wet ink on the canvas, I blotted it once lightly with a paper towel.
Will likely upload the photo I shot of the paper towel some time soon.
